One advantage of holding a conference on Zoom in the middle of a lockdown is that you are, almost always, guaranteed a large audience. If this conference to celebrate the first anniversary of the document, ‘Human Fraternity for World Peace and Living Together’, signed by Pope Francis and Dr Ahmad al-Tayyeb, the Grand Imam of Al Azhar, on 4th February 2019 in Abu Dhabi had been held in the banqueting suite of Glasgow City Chambers as planned, then it is doubtful that there would have been over two hundred people attending.
