About Us
Open House was founded in Dundee in 1990 as an independent Scottish Catholic journal of comment, opinion and reflection. It is rooted in the reforms of the Second Vatican Council and remains committed to the dialogue which began at the Council – with other churches, other faiths, and the secular world.
We publish features on religion and current affairs, arts and culture.
We are deeply grateful to those who support Open House with their donations and subscriptions, which cover the cost of design and production, and to all our contributors, who share their insights and expertise so generously through the forum of Open House.
