Born in 1945, Gilles Servat is a well-known French singer-songwriter, folksinger and Breton nationalist. Singing in his characteristically deep, warm, emotive voice, Gilles is a well-known performer of traditional Breton, Irish and Scottish folk songs, and of his own chansons composed in French. He is a celebrated figure on the Celtic music festival circuit and has previously performed at Glasgow Celtic Connections.
