The Irishman

Martin Scorsese, Director of The Irishman, is 77. The stars: Robert de Niro, the Irishman Frank Sheeran (de Niro is part Irish), is 76; Joe Pesci, Russell Bufalino, the head of a Philadelphia crime family, is 77; Al Pacino who plays the part of Jimmy Hoffa is 80. This is an old man’s film.
The film starts and ends in the care home where Sheeran goes after his wife dies. Computer generated imagery means the actors could be ‘de-aged’ to play their earlier characters.
