There is already a mountain of literature about the 35th US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. The latest contributor is Frederick Logevall, a Harvard professor, historian and Pulitzer Prize winner. The first volume takes us from JFK’s birth in 1917 to 1956. There is much about the young Kennedy, his father and brothers. Some commentators have compared him to Donald Trump, both second sons of self-made rich fathers from immigrant families.
