This important book is based on the Gifford Lectures delivered by Wright in 2018 at the University of Aberdeen. He is best known as a New Testament scholar, whose academic works are published under ‘NT’ Wright and his more popular works under ‘Tom’ Wright. Many know him through his ‘For Everyone’ series of biblical commentaries. Currently, he is Professor of New Testament and Early Christianity at the University of St Andrews, having been formerly Bishop of Durham. He is a fine example of the Anglican tradition of the scholar-pastor.
