This beautiful album was recorded in St Mary Magdalene church, Sherborne, and released in November 2019, shortly before the Coronavirus pandemic. I hold this collection of Christmas carols in great affection. During the long fearful months of lockdown and public health restrictions in 2020, many of us were emotionally sustained by learning and singing the carols on this album, courtesy of the online weekly singing workshops held by The Telling’s two singers, Ariane Prüssner and Clare Norburn.
