May the God of life with guarding hold us,
The loving Christ with guarding fold us;
The Holy Spirit, guarding, mould us,
Each night of life to aid, enfold us.
Each day and night of life uphold us.

May God shield us,
May God fill us,
May God keep us,
May God watch us,
May God bring us this night,

To the nearness of his love
The peace of the father of joy,
The peace of the Christ of hope,
The peace of the Spirit of grace.

The peace of all peace be ours this night.
