School for Synodality

The school for Synodality was set up to help support the synodal conversion of the Church in England and Wales. A growing number of Scots are signing up to benefit from its resources.

One of the events coming up next month will explore the next steps on the synodal journey. Bishop Brendan Leahy of Limerick, who many readers will remember from the Open House conference in Glasgow in 2019, is the keynote speaker.

The event will be held via zoom on 18th October from 11am – 1.30pm. You can book via the website.

The Scottish Laity Network seeks to enable Scottish lay people to come together. It focuses on finding new ways of being church and emphasises the importance of lay participation

Pax Christi Scotland

Pax Christi Scotland became one of the member organisations of Pax Christ International in 2019. This Catholic peace movement, with its 120 member organisations worldwide, promotes peace, respect of human rights, justice and reconciliation throughout the world.

Pax Christi Scotland aims to produce resources, provide an online space for reflection, discussion and training, be advocates for change in all arenas concerned with nonviolence, and raise awareness injustice and disregard for human rights.

Justice and Peace Scotland

Justice and Peace Scotland is a commission of the Bishops’ Conference of Scotland. it educates and campaigns on issues related to international peace and non-violence, human rights, social justice and care for creation.
