Theology journal goes online

Established in 1994, Theology in Scotland is a biannual journal dedicated to publishing articles, reviews, interviews and creative content related to life and faith in Scotland and its rich theological heritage.

Positioned in the middle ground between an academic journal and a church-based or general interest Christian periodical, Theology in Scotland strives to offer content that combines scholarly rigour with reader-friendly accessibility.

Most editions of the journal are organized around specific themes. Recent issues have covered a wide array of topics, including:

  • Autism and faith
  • Church: virtual and physical
  • Theology, imagination, and the arts
  • Theology and the environment

The journal takes an ecumenical approach, actively encouraging contributions from authors representing diverse theological perspectives.

The print version of the journal is priced at £15 per year, while the online edition is accessible for free
