Celebrating the life of Stella Reekie

Glasgow City Council had suggested that it might not open the museum again. There was an outcry from all those who appreciated its importance, particularly the faith communities who for decades had found it a safe space for dialogue. A campaign, spearheaded by Interfaith Glasgow, led to its re-opening.
This first event, focussing on the life of Stella Reekie and the work of the International Flat, brought together many who had worked with her in Glasgow or Pakistan.
