Faith acting justly

How can we make concrete the connection between faith and life in society? What approaches successfully form lay people as citizens? And what is the unique contribution of faith groups in bringing about transformation in their own communities in response to the urgent and existential challenges we face as global citizens? On 21st June 2021, the Craighead Institute brought together Christine Anderson and Duncan MacLaren for an online conversation about how their own experiences of faith and justice had shaped their thinking and practice
Christine Anderson is a member of the Society of the Faithful Companions of Jesus who has worked as a facilitator and educational consultant for over 30 years across four continents. She founded the Craighead Institute for Life and Faith in Glasgow before moving to Rome and starting Faith and Praxis for Global Leadership. Her passionate advocacy for social justice is grounded in Ignatian Spirituality. Sr Christine has distilled a lifetime’s wisdom in her recent book, Discerning the Gold in Human Experience: Leadership, Faith and Organizations.
