Thanks to young activists like Greta Thunberg, our growing understanding of the human impact on the planet has led to thousands of young people marching in protest around the world, demanding change from world leaders. My social media feeds are full of friends sharing their experiences of reducing their own impact on the planet. It makes me proud of my fellow millennials; as a generation they are well-informed, open-minded and radical. Their growing influence also shows young people can galvanise other generations, creating positive change when they get behind a cause they are passionate about.
