Safeguarding in the Catholic Church

Last month the McLellan Report, a review of current safeguarding policies, procedures and practices within the Catholic Church in Scotland was published.  Here, a distinguished child psychologist who advised the Catholic bishops on safeguarding retraces the path that led to the McLellan review.  Next month she will reflect on the review and its recommendations to the church.
